[Unpad Media Channel] A total of nine study programs from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Padjadjaran, have received international accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). The accreditation is valid from June 5th, 2025, to June 4th, 2030. FIBAA is a leading accreditation agency based in Bonn, Germany, known for its rigorous standards in evaluating the quality of higher education on a global scale.
The nine accredited study programs are Master of Public Policy, Master of Social Welfare, Master of Business Administration, Master of Public Administration, Bachelor of Social Welfare Science, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Anthropology, Bachelor of Public Administration, and Bachelor of International Relations
The Dean of FISIP Unpad, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Benny Alexandri, S.E., M.M., stated that this international accreditation is a recognition of academic quality, curriculum relevance, study program management, graduate competencies, and institutional readiness in responding to the challenges of global higher education.
“Through this achievement, FISIP Unpad affirms its position as one of the leading faculties in Indonesia, ready to compete and contribute globally in the advancement of social and political sciences,” said Prof. Benny.
He further emphasized that FISIP’s push for international accreditation is part of Unpad’s broader commitment to becoming a world-class research university. This accreditation also serves as tangible proof that FISIP Unpad is not only focused on domestic academic achievements but is also actively enhancing its institutional capacity to respond to global changes through adaptive, inclusive, and collaborative scientific approaches.
With this international recognition, FISIP Unpad strengthens its efforts to build a high-quality, integrity-driven higher education ecosystem, aiming to produce graduates who are not only academically capable but also highly competitive in the global job market.
