[Unpad Media Channel] A student of Tropical Fisheries and Marine Science from Universitas Padjadjaran’s Pangandaran Campus (PSDKU), Ahyan Mustopa participates in the “Young Fellowship Programme” organized by the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore.

The “Young Fellowship Programme” is a program designed to provide participants with a closer understanding of the academic atmosphere at NUS and to encourage them to undertake a project supported by a full scholarship from NUS. This program lasts for 5-6 weeks and begins with a one-week orientation on campus.

Furthermore, participants will spend the remaining four weeks working on group projects from their respective homes, concluding with an online group presentation, as stated in the release received by Unpad Media Channel.

Ahyan himself had the opportunity to visit the NUS campus in Singapore from June 26th-28th, 2024. During his time at NUS, he met with other students from around the world to explore various cutting-edge topics in science and technology, with a specific focus on generative AI and its applications.

Participants receive materials and preparation from world-class educators and researchers at NUS through a series of lectures, workshops, and hands-on activities.

In addition to workshop materials, participants are also given the opportunity to visit several locations where the topics covered in the workshops were applied, allowing them to see first-hand how complex concepts could be effectively implemented.

According to Ahyan, the one-week program at NUS is a valuable experience. “This program brought me together with talented students from around the world to learn and discuss various fields of science and research. It also allowed me to witness firsthand the importance and significant benefits of technology to civilizations,” he concluded. (release/SA)*
