[Unpad Media Channel] A team of Universitas Padjadjaran Faculty of Pharmacy students won first and second place at the 2024 Asia-Pacific Pharmaceutical Symposium (APPS). The event was held by the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation Asia-Pacific Region Office (IPSF APRO) in Chiang Mai, Thailand on June 30-July 7.
Team Meow, which consists of Alya Izzati Zhafira Rizal, Tasya Noor Aisyah, Tsania Mahira, and Ridha Nurul Karina, won first place at the Industrial Skills Event. Although the event proved very competitive, the team managed to win first place through the teamwork and dedication put forth by each member.
“We are very proud of this achievement,” remarked Alya Rizal.
Furthermore, another team from Unpad, Therapreneurs, also showcased their skill by winning second place at the event. Therapreneurs are made up of Absharina Hazirah, Bianca Davinia Gunawan, Btari Kalisha Nyratri, and Reneta Aisyah Maulina Junus.

For Hazirah and her team, their participation in the event was a invaluable experience. “Competing with colleagues from all over Asia-Pacific was an amazing chance to learn,” she said.
With the 2024 APPS in the bag, both teams are hoping to inspire their fellow students to compete and achieve in upcoming events. (arm/ICP)*
