[Unpad Media Channel] The Indonesia University Center of Excellence (U-CoE) Finder Unpad facilitated a strategic meeting, bringing together 14 leading Japanese technology companies to strengthen their collaboration in the field of powder processing technology. The meeting was held at the VIP Lounge, Hall D, JIExpo Jakarta, on Thursday, October 10th, 2024.
“Collaborating with Japanese powder processing technology companies through this forum is a strategic step for Finder Unpad to accelerate innovation and integrate advanced technology into Indonesian industries. We hope Indonesian students and researchers will actively contribute to the development of this technology,” stated Prof. Dr. Eng. I Made Joni, Chair of Finder Unpad.
As one of Indonesia’s leading innovation hubs, Finder Unpad aims to pioneer the advancement of powder processing technology across various industrial sectors. This collaboration is expected to foster new innovations in powder processing technology and strengthen Indonesia’s position in the global technology arena.
The strategic agreements discussed during the meeting serve as a solid foundation for advancing powder processing technology in Indonesia. Key topics included internship programs for Indonesian students at Japanese powder technology companies, the development of powder processing technology products and businesses in Indonesia, and plans for a follow-up meeting in November 2024.
The meeting also explored the preparation for the International Conference and Exhibition on Powder Technology Indonesia 2025, set to be hosted by Finder Unpad in Bandung, and extended invitations to the 25th Powtex 2024, an international powder technology exhibition in Tokyo scheduled for November 27th-29th, 2024.
The discussion was led by Prof. Dr. Eng. I Made Joni, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Camellia Panatarani, M.Si (Finder Unpad Expert), Tri Yudianto (Finder Unpad Expert), and Willy Dawson Liusan (CEO of PT. Alam Bali Mandiri/Baiyo, Finder Unpad’s partner in biodegradable plastic product development).
