[Unpad Media Channel] Universitas Padjadjaran successfully wins eight awards at the 2024 Diktisaintek Awards, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, at the Diktisaintek Graha D Building, Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday, December 13th, 2024. The eight awards included 3 from the Learning and Student Achievement Award, 2 from the Collaboration Award, 2 from the Public Relations Award, and 1 from the PDDikti Award.
“We are happy to receive these awards and deeply appreciate the efforts made by all members of the university community, from students, educational staff, lecturers, to partners. This is a baseline for us to aim for even better achievements in the future. We have also identified categories that we can target to improve further,” said Unpad’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, Prof. Zahrotur Rusyda Hinduan, who attended the event.
Prof. Zahrotur Rusyda attended the event alongside Unpad’s Director of Non-Degree Education, drg. Erli Sarlita, Ph.D., Head of Unpad’s Public Communication Office, Dandi Supriadi, Ph.D., and award-winning student Zulfa Salman Aman.
Furthermore, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro, in his speech stated, “The awards given are not just recognition, but also encouragement to continue moving forward to realize a more advanced and competitive higher education system in Indonesia.”
Prof. Satryo, who previously served as Director General of Higher Education from 1999-2007, further mentioned that these awards reflect the Ministry’s commitment to appreciating the hard work of everyone in realizing the transformation and reform of higher education.
Also present at the event were Vice Ministers of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd., and Prof. Stella Christie, Ph.D., Acting Secretary General of the Ministry, Prof. Togar M. Simatupang, as well as several university leaders from across Indonesia.
