Universitas Padjadjaran Student Choir (PSM Unpad) is a student organization that has been established since 1978, with various groups of active members coming from various scientific disciplines, the Unpad PSM is one of the student activity units which has an important role in protocol and ceremonial activities within the Universitas Padjadjaran environment. Unpad PSM has been trusted to perform at various major ceremonial and entertainment events in collaboration with numerous institutions and musicians, both nationally and internationally.

Achievements in the Last Five Years:

• 2017:
  • MISI KEBUDAYAAN INTERNASIONAL “INDONESIA KIRANA 2017”
  • 54th International Competition of Choral Singing, Spittal an der Drau, Austria
    • 1st place in the Folksong category
    • 2nd place in the Mixed Choir category
    • Awarded Best Interpretation of Romantic Choral Works for Johannes Brahms’ “Es Geht Ein Wehen”
    • Collaborated with the Indonesian Embassy and PPI for a cultural concert dedicated to Indonesia in Vienna, Austria.
    • Performed at the Indonesian Independence Day Commemoration at Lotte Hotel Seoul, South Korea, in collaboration with the Indonesian Embassy in South Korea.
• 2018:
  • 7th Bali International Choir Festival
    • Grand Champion
    • 1st place in the Mixed Choir category
    • Special Jury Award for Excellent Programs
    • Special Jury Award for Excellent Conductor to Arvin Zeinullah
    • Best Student Activity Unit at Universitas Padjadjaran
    • Participated in the “Choralboration” concert with Ken Steven.
• 2019:
  • 67th International Choral Competition Polifonico “Guido d’Arezzo”
    • Gran Premio Citta d’Arezzo
    • 1st place in the Sacred Music Category II
    • 2nd place in the Monographic Program Category IV
    • 3rd place in the Compulsory Category in the Mixed Choir Section
    • Public Prize for the International Folksong Category VI
    • Special Prize for Best Performance of a Living Italian Composer
    • Special Prize for Best Interpretation of Contemporary Piece “Ubi Caritas” by Pietro Ferrario.

• 2022:
  • 1st place in the Mixed Choir category at the 11th International “Antonio Vivaldi” Choir Competition and Festival
  • Finalist at the European Choral Grand Prix in Tours, France
  • 1st place in the Gebyar LLDIKTI (Higher Education Service Institute) Region IV Choir Competition
  • Conductor Miryam Wedyaswari, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist, awarded Best Conductor.
• 2023:
  • 5th Tokyo International Choir Competition
  • 1st place in the Contemporary Music category
  • Best Interpretation of Contemporary Music for the song “Readymade Alice” by 2022.
• 2024:
  • 8th Singapore International Choral Festival
  • Winner in the Mixed Voices Open category
  • Gold Medal in the Musica Sacra Open category.
