Perisai Diri Unpad is a student activity unit specializing in martial arts, particularly Silat. Perisai Diri Unpad actively participates in annual championships to bring honor to the university and improve the skills of Unpad students interested in martial arts, especially Silat.
Achievements in the Last Five Years:
- 2022 Perisai Diri International Championship, 1st place in the women’s attack and avoid category and 3rd place in the women’s attack and avoid category. The best female silat fighter, Aurum Nameerah Maraya Ajda from FIB 2021.
- 2023 National Higher Education Championship, succeeded in bringing home the 1st overall trophy
- 2024 Perisai Diri Bandung Championship (PDBC), managed to bring home 9 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze. As well as being the best adult female participant. This achievement brought the second overall winner in the adult category
- 2024 National Championship of Satria Airlangga Cup IX Indonesian National Defense National Championshi, Successfully bringing home 9 gold, 7 silver and 2 bronze. As well as being the second overall winner in the youth-adult category
- UKM with the best achievements in sports in a row from 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
