[Unpad Media Channel] Universitas Padjadjaran participates in the 2025 Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference Indonesia, organizes by Leave a Nest Malaysia at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) on Saturday, February 8th, 2025. Themed “Innovative & Emerging Food Technologies,” the conference aims to bring together academics, industry players, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration in research and innovation in food technology.
At the conference, Unpad showcases several research posters and innovative products developed by faculty members and students. These contributions reflect the university’s commitment to developing sustainable and impactful solutions in food technology.
Unpad also presents two keynote speakers in the field of innovative and emerging food technology. One of them was Dwi Novanda Sari, S.TP., M.Sc., a researcher at Agrotekpreneur Unpad, who participates in a panel session titled “Bridging Tradition and Technology: Showcasing Local Innovations in Food.” Dwi shares insights on how local food innovations can thrive through a blend of tradition and technology.
Meanwhile, another Unpad researcher, Dr. Rahmat Budiarto, S.P., M.Si., an expert in Agrotechnology, participates in a pitching session to present his research-based innovation on Innovative Ecophysiology-based agricultural practices. His innovation aims to enhance Keffir Lime production, which can be applied in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Unpad’s involvement in this conference highlights its active role in research commercialization and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry. The university’s participation is expected to open broader opportunities for the development of applicable innovations that provide significant benefits to society.
