[Unpad.ac.id, 8/01/2016] Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) Yogyakarta conducted comparison studies to the University of Padjadjaran, Friday (8/01), and was welcomed in Bale Rucita, Rectorate Building Jatinangor. Participating in this comparison study trip were Heads of Faculties and Rectorate Division UII, accompanied by Vice Rector UII, Dr. Ing. Ir. Ilya Fadjar Maharika, MA., IAI and Vice Rector II UII Dr. Drs. Nur Feriyanto, M.Si.

The objective of this comparison study was to determine quality of service at Universitas Padjadjaran to be taken as reference material in order to increase quality of service in all units within the UII. During the welcome ceremony, Dr. Ilya said that this comparison study was part of the process of redesigning UII. This university originally was named Sekolah Tinggi Islam (Islam Higher School) was established in Yogyakarta on July 8, 1945.
“We realized that as the oldest private university, we need to stay in context with the era and should continue to advance further. It is one of our efforts to visit you and see the situation in our friends for us to have redesign perspective, “Dr. Ilya.
Attending from Universitas Padjadjaran were Vice Rector for Planning, Finance, and Information Systems Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita, dr., SPM (K), Kes., PhD, Director of Technology and Information Systems Drs. Gatot Riwi., M.Si., Head of Academic Administration Bureau, Drs. Sudarma, MM, Head of Information Systems Subdivision Alan Ridwan Maulana, S.Si., M.Kom, and Head of Technology and Information Systems Administration Arif Firmansyah, S.Si., M.T.
“There are many aspects we can learn together. This is also a good opportunity for us to hear what is happening in Yogya, “said Arief Sjamsulaksan.
The event started with introduction overview of Universitas Padjadjaran, then continued with presentation of activities of Universitas Padjadjaran excellent service, especially those carried out under the Directorate of Technology and Information Systems as well as activities under the Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs. This presentation was followed by a question and answer session and discussion. *
