Unpad Achieved Best Three of SPM Data Validation from KPPN Bandung Region I

[Unpad.ac.id, 25/02/2016] Universitas Padjadjaran achieved award of Best Three of SPM Data Validation from the Office of Treasury Service (KPPN) Bandung Region I. The award was presented by Head of Bandung KPPN I, Moch. Nurhidayat, in the auditorium of Gedung Keuangan Negara, Bandung, Wednesday (24/02).

Director of Finance Unpad Cahya Irawady, S.E., M.Si., Ak., said that this first award for Unpad was given by KPPN for the accuracy and validation of documents Payment Order (SPM) to KPPN for funds from domestic-source budge of fiscal year 2015.

“In the process, we were considered to have low degree of error, number of SPM and accuracy, visibility, and rejection rate are relatively few,” said Cahya at his office on Thursday (25/02).

Furthermore Cahya said that the validated SPM documents were all financial activities Unpad for 2015, including: salaries payment, personnel costs, disbursement of scholarships, allowances of lecturer certification, honorary allowances for emeritus professors, funds for State University Operational Cost (BOPTN), and ratification of Revenue and BLU Operational Cost.

The complete document was sent to Treasury Office for further assessment through KPPN’s standard of Quality Assurance mechanisms.

Furthermore, Head of Treasury Subdivision Directorate of Finance Unpad Nandang Kusnandar, S.AB., M.Ak., said that the assessment covered up to 200 BLU work units under auspices of Treasury Office of Bandung I. The first place of this award was achieved by by Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources of West Java Province. Second place was achieved by Geological Agency of Bandung.

With this award, Unpad continues its commitment to provide constant advancement, especially in terms of validation of financial documents. Fiscal year 2016 would be Unpad’s final year as Public Service Board work unit.

“The year target is to have Unpad ranked second or even first,” said Cahya.*
