[Unpad.ac.id, 11/04/2016] Students of Public Relations Faculty of Communciation Science (Fikom) and Faculty of Psychology Universitas Padjadjaran, Hanas Nurpijar Kaloka and Atika Permata Sari won awards as Honorable Delegates and Best Perfomance in Indonesia-Vietnam Youth Friendhsip Program(IVYFP) on 20-26 March 2016 in University of Social, Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Hanas and Atika were Unpad delegation representative for this year IVFYP. IVFYP is a program under ASEAN Youth Friendship Network. This year event was attended by 26 delegations from various universities in Indonesia. The main goal of this program is to introduce Indonesia and Vietnam culture and to discuss Asean Economic Community (AEC) which has started since the end of 2015 years ago.
During the program, Hanas and Atika prepared cultural dances from Indonesia to be performed in the Cultural Exchange and Indonesia Exhibition Day, and prepared the excellent solutions to be addressed in a discussion session of issues occurring in the MEA nowadays. In addition, in this one week program, the delegation shared knowledge and information about the state of Indonesia, both in terms of educational, economic, social, political to Cho Gao Senior High School in Tien Giang Province.
In addition, awards were directly presented by Dean of Bahasa Indonesia Science from University of Social, Sciences and Humanities to Universitas Padjadjaran. This award was received by Director of Student and Alumni Unpad, Dr. Ir. Heryawan Kemal Mustafa, M.Sc. Hopefully, this award would be a motivation for Unpad students to continue to work and gain achievement in the name of Indonesia in the international arena.*
