[Unpad.ac.id, 19/04/2016] PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) presented scholarship to 25 Universitas Padjadjaran students, children of education personnel of Unpad from different faculties.. In total, the scholarship presented was 120 million Rupiah.

The scholarship ceremonial presentation was done by Head of BRI Sumedang Branch Office Moch. Syarif Budiman, to students in Bale Rucita Unpad Jatinangor, Tuesday (19/04). Also attending during the ceremony were Head of Unpad Academic Administration Bureau, Drs. Sudarma, MM., Head of Unpad Student Administration Division, Wahyi, S.IP., Manager Assistant for Micro Business BRI Sumedang Branch Office, Achmad Darajat, Head of BRI Unit Unpad Sumedang Branch, Asep Slamet Raharjo, and the students recipients.

“This scholarship is special. Many banks and other parties are providing scholarships but only BRI provides special scholarship for children of Unpad education personnel who study here,” said Sudarma.

Syarif Budiman said cooperation with between BRI and Unpad has been forged since long ago. “From the beginning, now and hopefully forever, we have been close with Unpad. BRI is also part of Unpad Family because many of its employees are Unpad graduates,” he said.

Moch. Syarif Budiman hoped for this scholarship to help the students study up till they graduate later. “Best of luck in studying in Unpad and if you have graduated, we open the opportunity for you to participate in BRI staff program,” he said.*
