[Unpad.ac.id, 28/06/2016] Joint Entrance Selection of State University (SBMPTN) can be accessed on Tuesday (28/06) at 2.00 pm on http://pengumuman.sbmptn.ac.id/. This year, Universitas Padjadjaran again became the state university with the highest number of applicants in Indonesia, 93,046 people with 3,552 of them admitted. Participants are admitted to Unpad should fill their bio online on the page http://pengumuman.unpad.ac.id/.
From the number, 47,119 applied in Program Study of Science and Technology group and 45,927 people applied in Program Study of Social and Humanities group. Only less than 3.92% was accepted in Science Tech group (1,847 students) and 3.72% was accepted in Social Humanities group (1,709 students). This number made Unpad as most competitive state university in acceptance percentage in Indonesia.
There are five Study Programs in each Science Tech and Social Humanities groups with the most number of applicants. For Science Tech, the five study programs are Medicine Education (8,625 applicants for 140 students), Informatics Engineering (3,328 applicants for 46 students), Pharmacy (3,221 applicants for 88 students), Psychology (3,068 applicants for 95 students), and Dentistry (2,580 applicants for 96 students).
Meanwhile acceptance percentages for five Study Programs in Science Tech group are as follows: Informatics Engineering (1.38%), Medicine Education (1.62%), Electrical Engineering (2.24%), Industrial Agricultural Industry Technology (2.5%), and Animal Husbandry (2.71%).
For Social Humanities group, five Study Programs with the most number of applicants are: Law (4,853 applicants for 270 students), Communication Science (4,464 applicants for 78 students), Management (3,962 applicants for 73 students), Accounting (3,083 applicants for 64 students), and International Relations (2,564 applicants for 65 students).
Meanwhile acceptance percentages for five Study Programs in Social Humanities group are as follows: Communication Science (1.75%), Management (1.84%), Accounting (2.08%), Television and Film (2.36%), and Islamic Economics (2.51%).
Online bio filling as the early stage of registration could be done from June 30 to July 18 starting at 4:00 pm with the participants SBMPTN used as UserID and date of birth as a password.
After completing the form, new students could proceed to medical checkup at UPT Kesehatan Unpad Jl. Dipati Ukur No. 46, Bandung starting from 19 to 29 July 2016. The online registration for medical checkup is done on http://pengumuman.unpad.ac.id/.
The administrative registration period for new students from SBMPTN applicants will be conducted in 2–3 August 2016 in Bale Santika Unpad Campus Jatinangor. Registration is adjusted with the faculty schedule. *
