[Unpad.ac.id, 2/09/2016] Study Program of Agricultural Industrial Technology Faculty of Agriculture Industrial Technology Unpad University (TIN FTIP Unpad) conducted TIN ASEAN Trip on 6-20 August 2016. The Trip around the ASEAN countries brought 45 students of the first batch of TIN FTIP Program Unpad.
The trip included visits to a number of renowned universities in ASEAN, including Nanyang Technology University, National University of Singapore, and Chulalongkorn University. In addition, the visit was also made to the Indonesian Student Association in each country visited, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and other places of cultural and educational travel.
These activities are carried out in order to realize Unpad superior graduate profile for TIN FTIP, corresponding target is yielding The Local enablers, Technopreneur, Design Thinkers and Creative Leaders. In addition to opening insight into the international world, including insight into the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), through this activity, the participants were also introduced directly to a variety of world progress.
“By entering the era of AEC, ASEAN is introduced to the real situation. As the primary requirement, students are able to open horizons that have an impact on behavior change to better prepare for the challenges of the future,” said one of the lecturers FTIP Padjadjaran University, Dr. Dwi Purnomo.
This activity is one of the annual student activities. In the design, student activities were made parallel with the academic curriculum so that graduates desired profile could be realized. Various student activities created to be innovative, thus encouraging students to establish the nature of leadership in a variety of activities.

The total funds used to carry out these activities amounted to approximately 150 Million IDR, collectively collected from entrepreneurial activities that have been developed in the Program Study of Agricultural Industry Technology in collaboration with the Community The Local enablers of Jatinangor Creative Forum, “said Dr. Dwi.
Elni Hazar, one participant of TIN ASEAN Trip, said that the event was very useful for her. According to her, these activities can expand the horizons and encouraged her to be more discipline just like the residents of the country visited.
Another participant, Krisdianto revealed that with this trip, students could see the difference that has not been seen in practice. “This experience makes an insight into our dreams become more open and real,” he said. *
