Twelve Unpad Students Unpad Join Nusantara Student Exchange 2016 (Permata)

[Unpad.ac.id, 8/09/2016] A total of 12 students of Universitas Padjadjaran participate in Nusantara Student Exchange program (Permata). These students will follow the courses of a semester at the Universitas Tanjungpura (3 students), Universitas Hasanuddin (3 students), Universitas Sumatera Utara (2 students), Universitas Pattimura (3 students), and Universitas Haluoleo (1 student).

“Please keep the good name of Unpad,” said Director of Education, Prof. Dr. Budi Setiabudiawan, dr., Sp.AK., Kes.when met with the students before heading off to respective college destinations in Meeting Room of the Vice Rector Office, Building 2, 2nd Unpad, Jln. Dipati Ukur No. 35 Bandung, Thursday (8/09).

To the students, Prof. Budi also advised to always be well behaved. He also believed that the selected students can perform well during the academic process following this event. He hoped that they can quickly adapt to the college.

“Hopefully you feel at home, have fun, and gain a valuable experience,” said Prof. Budi.

This event was also attended by a number of the Deans, Vice Deans for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Innovation and Cooperation, and representatives of the faculty where the students come from. Messages are also delivered by the leaders of these faculties.

On the occasion, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Innovation and Cooperation of the Faculty of Cultural Science, Dr. Muhsin Mumuh Z., Drs., M. Hum expected that these students will not only be active in academic activities, but also to learn the culture of each region. He also argued that this opportunity is “expensive” because not all students have the same opportunity.

“Hopefully you can benefit a lot from this experience,” said Dr. Mumuh.
