SESKOAU Signed Cooperation in Learning Task with Unpad

This charter signing of cooperation is a follow up of the programs that have been run by SESKOAU with Unpad. Dedy said that a form of cooperation that has been done is learning assignments in Unpad for the Air Force officer who wants to continue his/her education.

“Already many of our officers are funded to study here, including in Social and Political Science, Law, Psychology, and Medicine Specialist,” said Dedy.

SESKOAU itself has a special program for the further learning assignments of officer in Universitas Padjadjaran. He said that Unpad was chosen as an option assignment is for its “A” accredited institution.

“Previously we have been working with other universities, but for Unpad we conduct specific learning task,” said Dedy.

In the field of law, said Dedy, Unpad have specific expertise in the field of air and space law. Education teaching air and space law was founded by Faculty of Law, Universitas Padjadjaran since 50 years ago. Therefore, Dedy wanted to strengthen the branch of science.

Dedy also expected cooperation learning assignments can be done in other courses in Unpad. This opportunity is open to officers and other personnel who want to improve the level of education, both at the Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate.

In response to Dedi’s statement, Rector also offers an opportunity for officers and personnel of the Air Force to continue their studies in all existing studies program at Universitas Padjadjaran. According to the Rector, the entire program of study at Padjadjaran basically had relevance to the future development of the Air Force.

“On the other hand, we also invite those from SESKOAU to be present in various faculties to give you an idea related to air defense,” said Rector.

Especially for study assignments, Rector suggested learning system that will be carried out not only focused on Unpad. The personnel can do a lecture at the headquarters of the Air Force. The learning mechanism is personnel conducted a study of the various problems that occur in the Air Force and then look for a solution.

Furthermore, Rector said that in facing a variety of challenges occurred in society, the attitude of interdependence is needed. Through the efforts of interdependence between Unpad with SESKOAU, both parties are equally expected to increase its capacity.

In addition to learning assignments, Rector expected SESKOAU organized a joint workshop related learning curriculum development between Unpad with SESKOAU. Another collaboration that will be done is the development of joint research.

In this signing ceremony, also attending Vice Rector for Academics and Student Affairs Unpad, Dr. Arry Bainus, M.A., Director of Cooperation Unpad, Parikesit, M.Sc., PhD., and Dean of FISIP Unpad, Dr. R. Widya Setiabudi Sumadinata, S.IP., S.Si., M.T., M.Si (Han). Meanwhile from the Air Force, attending Head of Board of Education TNI AU Colonel Tek Haryono, Head of Board of Law TNI AU, and several leaderships of Seskoau.

The meeting also signed the Agreement of Cooperation between FISIP Unpad by Dr. Widya Setiabudi with SESKOAU by Marsda Dedy. This cooperation agreement is about the implementation of learning assignments and personnel officer at the department of the Air Force Master Security Studies and International Relations Study Program of Social and Political Science, Universitas Padjadjaran. *
