[Unpad.ac.id/2/11/2016] More than 200 students of Universitas Padjadjaran and young professional were enthusiastic in finding out information about the opportunity to continue higher education in Netherland during “Holland Scholarships Info Session” held by Unpad International Affairs Office and Nuffic Neso Indonesia in Auditorium of Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor, Friday (28/10).

The event was opened by Chief Administrative Cooperation Unpad, Dra. Ita Indriani, representing Unpad Cooperation Director. The event then continued with the presentation of the Staff Scholarship Nuffic Neso, Shita Wulandari, about the chances of achieving further study and scholarship opportunities in the Netherlands. The scholarships offered include StuNed, Netherlands Fellowship Programmes, Holland Scholarship, Scholarship Fund Management Institution of Education (LPDP), Scholarship Lecturer Indonesia with funding of Higher Education, as well as the Scholarship funding sources Kemendikbud and Communications and Information Technology.
StuNed is a full scholarship from the Dutch government for the program Master, Short course and also tailor made Training destined for Indonesian citizens. Areas of priority within the framework of bilateral cooperation between the Netherlands and Indonesia, the field of International Trade, Finance and Economics, Transport, (Agro) logistic and Infrastructure, Security and Law Enforcement, and the Agro-Food and Horticulture. Registration StuNed master’s program will be opened in January 2017 until April 1, 2017, while the Short Course program on October 1, 2017.
“The selection criteria focused on factors of StuNed excellence and linkages with priority areas of cooperation between Indonesia and the Netherlands,” said Shita.
StuNed also invited the parties to jointly invest in this program in the form of co-funding, among others, by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in the field of communication technology and informatics.
The main requirement of StuNed registration is that applicants must already have a “Letter of Acceptance / LoA (letter of acceptance statement)” of the university in the Netherlands. For prospective applicants who are interested, they are called upon to immediately apply to universities in the Netherlands. The scholarship program to the Netherlands is not only obtained through scholarships provided by the Dutch Government, but the Government of Indonesia also facilitated students to obtain other scholarship programs offered by the Netherlands Government that the Netherlands Fellowship Programmes and Holland Scholarship. Meanwhile the scholarships offered by the Indonesian government, including a scholarship from the Institute of Education Fund Management (LPDP), Scholarship Lecturer Indonesia with funding of Higher Education, Scholarship funding sources Kemendikbud and Communications and Information Technology.
