[Unpad.ac.id, 9/11/2016] To connect college graduates and job market, Universitas Padjadjaran held a job fair which was open for public. This event was held at Bale Santika, Jatinangor, on Wednesday (9/11) and Thursday (10/11). A total of 18 companies participated in this activity.

Unpad Job Fair was officially opened by the Director of Student and Alumni Affairs Unpad, Dr. Ir. Heryawan Kemal Mustafa, M.Sc. He said that this event was also organized to open networking with various institutions, particularly those opening employment for college graduates.
“We included companies and institutions to employ college graduates,” said Dr. Heryawan when met at the event.
This job fair was a project in cooperation with the Directorate of Student and Alumni Affairs Unpad with Student Executive Board (BEM Kema) and Universitas Padjadjaran Alumni Association. It did not only attract Unpad graduates, but also those from other institutions.
In addition to job seeking, participants also received materials on the preparation for professional world. Materials presented included information on how to make an attractive resume, tips and tricks on job interviews, and online hiring. Participating companies also gave presentations on their respective company company profiles.
“We hope that this Job Fair can be useful, not only for the institution, also for the community, particularly people around Jatinangor,” said Dr. Heryawan.
