[Unpad.ac.id, 23/12/2016] Deans of Universitas Padjadjaran signed Agreement of 2017 Performance in the Executive Lounge Unpad, Jln. Dipati Ukur No. 35 Bandung, Friday (23/12). Under these agreements, performance contract was agreed between the Rector with the Deans for 2017.
“In determining the performance targets, we have already started pushing the approach to not merely look at the context of historical, but actually seeks to look at the results of the evaluation of ourselves, both related to our shortcomings, or the potential that we have that will be the capital how our performance forward,” said the Rector, Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad.
With the existence of such capital, a program of work that was built and then translated to the activities, with the hope of further encouraging performance targets can be achieved.
Moreover, to achieve better performance, Rector also expected stronger synergy in the use of capital-capital that is in every business unit in Unpad. Rector also expected every faculty not only “portraying” itself, but also improving its performance benchmark.
Meanwhile, Director of Planning and Information Systems Unpad, Irvan Afriandi, dr., Grad. Dipl. OEH., MPH., Dr.PH. said that in the deans performance targets, there is a strong desire to increase the percentage of students graduating on time.
In addition, Dr. Irvan also revealed that an increasing target acquisition grant for the research came from outside the institution, especially those from the competition and international cooperation. Dr. Irvan said that an increasing number of significant between the figures achieved in 2016 with the target to be achieved in 2017.
Also it should be visible from the target of scientific publications. There was an increase in the target number of reputable international publications, even the nearly doubling of the amount achieved in 2016. The involvement of students in conducting research and scientific publications together professors were expected to increase. In terms of human resources, is expected to also be increasing the number of Professors and Associate Professor in Unpad.
“Research is our capital. Thus starting from the acquisition of research grants increased, then increase the involvement of students, followed by a scientific publication, the lecturer will increase its functional positions,” said Dr. Irvan. *
