Three students of Universitas Padjadjaran who joined in Student activities unit English Speaking Union (ESU) won the 1st place at National Level PMDC (Perbanas Marketing Debate Competition) 2017 on September 24th – 26th at Perbanas Institute, Jakarta.

The three students, Rita Nurhasanah (Anthropology), Giovanni Nickson (Communication Management), and Naila Putri Zasa (Public Relation) won the 1st place after defeated a debate team from University of Indonesia and London School of Public Relations on final. Universitas Padjadjaran also succeeded on beatin Telkom, the champion for the last two years in a row, in the semifinal.
In a release received by Unpad Publicist, one of the team members, Rita Nurhasanah even won as The Best Speaker in this competition that has been running for 13 years.
“We’re very happy with the result. The result of hard working research and our everyday practice and team work we did was not in vain.” said Nabila
“Yes, we’re very happy with this achievement, moreover our friends become the Best Speaker. In this competition the three of us learnt a lot about marketing.” add Giovanni.
PMDC 2017 uses the theme “Using Marketing to Fully Reach Global Market Access.” This year there are 30 universities competing from various area in Indonesia.*
