[unpad.ac.id, 23/7/2018] Study Center of Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Entrepreneurship, and Community Development of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Unpad (FISIP Unpad) has an intensive cooperation with PT. Indonesia Power Kamojang Unit, West Java.
This cooperation has been started by initial visit of the Corporate to the Study Center in Jatinangor last June. During the visit, Public Relations and Security PT. Indonesia Power Kamojang Unit, Heri Hermawan, tried to follow up the long-term cooperation plan related to environmental management program assistance.
The Study Center positively responded the visit by visiting back the Corporate’s office in Ibun, Bandung District, Tuesday (3/7) and then, Chairman of the Study Center, Dr. Santoso Tri Rahardjo expressed his commitment to build a partnership.
In the release received by Unpad Public Relation, the assistance was conducted in the form of social mapping and strategic plan formulation to fulfill the Corporate Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management (Proper) of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia.
“This long-term cooperation is based on the Principal Scientific Pattern (PIP) of Unpad i.e. Noble Build of Law and Environment in the National Development and in line with Unpad Loves Jabar Program” said Dr. Santoso.
Furthermore, both parties agreed to determine the site for social mapping and to conduct training activities for field technicians and students of Unpad. One of the trainings was held at FISIP Unpad, Jatinangor, Friday to Sunday (20-22/7).
