[unpad.ac.id, 18/9/2018] West Java Governor M. Ridwan Kamil congratulated the Commemoration of the 61st Anniversary of Unpad at Grha Sanusi Hardjadinata, Dipati Ukur Street No. 35, Bandung, Tuesday (18/9).
“On behalf of the West Java Provincial Government I wish you a happy birthday, congratulations on the 61st Anniversary. “It is a light for us in West Java in particular,” said the Governor who is familiarly called Emil.
When giving a speech, Emil asked Unpad community to support the performance of West Java Provincial Government. As the new governor for one week, Emil is optimistic to bring West Java into the best province in Indonesia.
For this reason, Emil expected Unpad to contribute through various researches that have been conducted. “If there are research results, please send to me, I will learn it. As long as the results of this research are practical, it will be implemented, “said Emil.
The former Mayor of Bandung was also interested in five series of books from the thoughts of 100 Unpad professors which were officially launched in the 61st Anniversary Ceremony. He was committed to reading the entire book series for the next 3 months.
“Hopefully it will become a provision for leadership,” said Emil.
The West Java Provincial Government also remains committed to supporting the development of Unpad, both in terms of asset and budget facilitation.
On the occasion, Emil prayed for Unpad academics and education personnel. “I pray that academics will be saved by their religion, always healthy and be expanded to seek knowledge,” Emil said. *
