“Unpad once again received an A accreditation. It was our hard work together,” said Unpad Rector Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad.

The Rector appreciated the valuable efforts of the big family of Unpad in achieving this accreditation. The thing that needs to be grateful is the existence of togetherness, solidarity, and happiness of Unpad’s family during the accreditation process and until now.

The Rector said, “Unpad Mapag Taun 2019” was held to be grateful for various kindnesses, as well as to foster togetherness of the Unpad family and to begin 2019 with excitement.

In addition, it is hoped that this year the concern for the environment will be further enhanced in accordance with the Unpad Principal Scientific Pattern which is in line with several SDGs 17 points, including: “build cities and settlements that have good quality, safe and sustainable; ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns; and act quickly to combat climate change and its effects.”

On this occasion, the Rector inaugurated tap water-ready to drink “Jalatista” which spread at 10 points throughout the campus, and officially distributed free reusable tumbler to thousands of Unpad employees.

“Reduce plastic waste, to protect our environment. We must be disciplined to make it works because the Unpad Principal Scientific Pattern teaches us that way,” said the Rector.

Besides the waste problem, the Rector also invited the big family of Unpad to be disciplined in various aspects, such as orderly traffic and not smoking in any place.

“Unpad Mapag Taun 2019” was also enlivened by a volleyball and futsal friendly match, entertainment stage, and culinary offerings from a number of faculty canteens in Unpad. *
