Seminar “Young Entrepreneur” to Encourage the Spirit of Entrepreneurship

[Unpad.ac.id, 26/02/2013] Speaking in the seminar “Young Entrepreneur,” Hermas Puspito, a consultant in the ELC consulting argued that the key to a successful entrepreneur is networking and immediate action. In addition, there has to be a change in mindset. Establishing a business by following a trend, in his opinion, will most likely lead to failure for it is very hard to find ways to develop.

Having too many businesses to run will also keep an entrepreneur away from success. “You should focus on one particular business. When the result is rewarding, you can now glance at another opportunity for new business,” said Puspito.

Unimplemented ideas and concepts and fear of risks get you to a poor condition. Ideas can be implemented at the same time with running the business. “Business is the combination of concept and action. Just do it. Let God help,” he added. To become an entrepreneur, one must possess dream, faith, target, knowledge, network, team, and courage.

Also speaking in the seminar were Rex Marindo, a creative sales specialist, Stefani Kurniadi, from the Head of Digital Strategy, speaking on Online Media.

The seminar is followed by “Spectrum Young Entrepreneur Competition 2013”.
