The Universitas Padjadjaran Student Protocol Corps (KPM) is a student activity unit officially established on April 10th, 2000. It aims to accommodate the interests and talents of Unpad students in the field of protocol while upholding the Three Pillars of Higher Education within the Universitas Padjadjaran environment. Unpad Student Protocol Corps has progressively developed alongside various collaboration opportunities from both internal and external parties of Unpad. The organization has a mission to introduce protocol science within the campus and student community, as protocol knowledge, when deeply explored, offers numerous benefits and practical applications in human life.

Student Protocol Corps serves as protocol officers for university events, including graduation ceremonies, scientific orations and professor inaugurations, new student admissions, national commemoration ceremonies, rector/dean inaugurations, doctoral promotion sessions, university anniversaries, memorandum of understanding (MoU) signings, gala dinners, national and international symposiums, as well as seminars and workshops.

In addition, Unpad Student Protocol Corps is also entrusted as an event organizer for various internal and external Unpad events, such as the 58th Anniversary of the Asian-African Conference, Metro on Campus, Stand-Up Comedy with Kompas TV, Metro Stand-Up Comedy, the 36th National Scientific Week (Pimnas), the Plenary Session of the Academic Senate of Legal Entity State Universities, the 2023 ASEAN Higher Education Conference (AHEC), and many more.

KPM Unpad has also provided knowledge and training within Unpad environment, that includes training in management and protocol, MC training, event organizing, liaison officer training, public speaking training, and more.

The achievements of Unpad Student Protocol Corps come from its members and alumni. Unpad Student Protocol Corps members have contributed numerous accomplishments to Universitas Padjadjaran, especially in the field of public speaking. Today, many alumni of Unpad Student Protocol Corps have built careers as protocol officers, producers, presenters, and news anchors at national and private television stations.

  • 2nd Place in Public Speaking Competition, 2021 National Arts Week
  • 1st Place in News Anchor Competition, 2021 Protocol Public Speaking UNE
  • 1st Place in Journalight, 2021 Universitas Indonesia Communication Week
  • 1st Place in Libilicious, 2021 Unpad Epicentrum Unpad

2022:

  • 3rd Place in Master of Ceremony Competition, 2022 Public Speaking UNEJ
  • 1st Place in Podcast E-Radio, 2022 Podcast Competition, Universitas Airlangga
  • 1st Place in Podcast Justicia, 2022 Ramadhan Festival, UIN Walisongo Semarang
