[Unpad.ac.id, 30/08/2016] Quality Assurance Unit (SPM) Universitas Padjadjaran held a Formulation of Unpad Internal Quality Standards Workshop in Ballroom 1 Mason Pine, Kota Baru Parahyangan, Jl. Raya Parahyangan KM 18, West Bandung Regecny, on 30-31 August 2016.

This workshop held to formulate and prepare guidelines on Internal Quality Assurance Standards Unpad was opened by the Head of Quality Assurance Unit (SPM) Universitas Padjadjaran, Dr. Hj. Rd. Funny Mustikasari Elita, M.Sc., accompanied by a number of Chief of Faculty Quality Assurance Unit, the Drafting Team on Environmental Quality Standards Padjadjaran University, and attended by Advisor to the Bureau of Quality Assurance Division, the Head and the Head of SPM Subdivisions.
In her speech, Dr. Funny said that the purpose of this activity is to formulate policy and quality objectives associated with a transition period Universitas Padjadjaran undergoing changes as the State Legal Entity that needs to be translated into policy and quality objectives that are relevant will be the basis or “umbrella” for the formulation of standards, derivatives and form SPMI-PT in providing higher education services to the community to realize a quality culture in Unpad.
Dr. Funny presented the material regarding the Internal Quality Assurance Standards in Unpad. “The process of achieving quality will continue because the challenge never stops even quality targets will always be “moving targets”. The development of science never stops, as open ended problem, while the mission of the college is the developer of knowledge,” she said.
Dr. Funny further said that the statement of an ideal standard must meet the elements of A (audience), B (Behavior), C (Competence), and D (Degree). ABCD elements are in many ways very similar to what are called Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Typically, KPIs is a package unit consisting of: Indicators (on what will be measured/achieved), Measures (about how to measure/reach it) and Targets (about what results we want).
Furthermore, the participants were divided into 14 groups for formulate and construct 14 standards that are presented, consisted of: learning standards, standards of quality assurance system, information system standard, the standard of academic atmosphere, standard of facilities and infrastructure, standards governance, standard vision, mission and goals, student standards, financial standards, standards of cooperation, research standards, standardized business management, PKM standards and welfare standards.
This activity was also held to continue in contributing to the improvement of the reputation of Unpad, Funny also expressed her appreciation to the entire teams of quality assurance that have been committed to conduct quality management system, to ensure the quality of education is not so simple and requires a commitment to be sustainable, she said. *
