[Unpad.ac.id, 29/11/2016] 12 Unpad students received scholarships from KEB Hana Bank. The scholarship was symbolically given by the Learning & Development Division Head PT. Hana Bank KEB Indonesia, Vitriawati to students at Bale Rumawat Unpad, Jln. Dipati Ukur No. 35 Bandung, Tuesday (29/11).
On that occasion, Vitriawati said that scholarships are awarded each year through Hana Bank Hana KEB Nanum Foundation to talented students, who are expected to be able to contribute to the good of the university and the state.
“Hopefully this scholarship can be beneficial and give friends the fore motivation to be able to provide the best for the university and the ideals of friends to the fore,” said Vitriawati.
Meanwhile, Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Unpad, Dr. Arry Bainus, M.A. appreciated the presence of this scholarship. According to him, KEB Hana Bank is one of Unpad’s strategic partners. It is expected that the cooperation between the two sides will continue and expand.
“To KEB Hana Bank, we thank you profusely. Hopefully the cooperation between us could flourish and sustain, that this would be our joint responsibility to the homeland of this nation, “said Dr. Arry.
To the students, Dr. Arry said to to maintain this given trust responsibly. The chance of getting a scholarship must be used as well as possible, in a manner demonstrating outstanding achievement and graduate on time.
“If you feel this is an achievement, you need to show that achievement. The first is to study well and achieve the best; the second is that you need to graduate on time. Thus good opportunities will come to you,” said Dr. Arry in delivering the message from the Rector.
The scholarship recipients come from various faculties, namely Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, and Faculty of Engineering Geology.
The event was also attended by the Director of Education and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Reiza Dienaputra D., M. Hum., and Secretary of the Directorate of Education and Library Resources Drs. Sudarma, MM. *
