[Unpad Media Channel] Universitas Padjadjaran collaborated with MarkPlus Institute and Lokatekno to launch an online learning program based on a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to support an unlimited learning process. MOOC program on the “Unpad Luhung” platform can be accessed by all learners worldwide.
The launching of the MOOC program by Unpad-MarkPlus Institute-Lokatekno was done amidst The Annual 18th MarkPlus Conference 2024 in Ritz Carlton Sudirman, Jakarta, Thursday (7/12/2023). It was carried out by the Rector of Unpad, Prof. Rina Indiastuti, the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Unpad, Dr. Arief Yahya, Founder & Chairman MCorp, CEO MarkPlus Institute Jacky Mussri, and CEO Lokatekno, David Santoso.
In her speech, the Rector said that through the “Unpad Luhung” platform, Unpad invited all partners to participate in providing many non-degree learning contents that could be accessed globally with the support of information technology.
According to the Rector, recently, the collaboration and innovation in the education field with technology support could not be denied. The collaboration was expected to be beneficial for encouraging advancement and creating sustainability for Indonesia.
“Education is our instrument,” said the Rector.
Unpad strengthened the field of learning and technology by providing a MOOC platform entitled “Universitas Padjadjaran Learning and Upskilling Hub for Next Generation (Unpad Luhung).”
The collaboration result was opened to advance Unpad’s MOOC’s growth by establishing certified classes for Civil Servants (Aparatur Sipil Negara or ASN), MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), and students.
There are several classes in the Unpad-MarkPlus-Lokatekno MOOC platform.
The first course is “WOW Public Service in Digital Era.” It is purposed to help Civil Servants develop their public service skill and communication.
The second course is “Digital Branding for UMK.” The course is for MSME actors to enhance practical business skills by utilizing digital marketing strength and improving knowledge about effective digital branding.
The third course is “Entrepreneurship and Leadership for Students”. It is intended for students as a supplementary study for academic courses. Students are expected to have entrepreneurship and leadership skills to prepare for a bright future.
