Unpad Opens Student Admission for Cooperation Program at Every Level

[Unpad Media Channel] Universitas Padjadjaran opens Student Admission for Undergraduate, Vocational, and Postgraduate Programs in 2024 through the cooperation program for student admission. The program is specified for participants recommended by institutions cooperating with Unpad regarding three pillars of education (tridarma) through the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

“The primary requirement is the recommendation institution must have the Tridarma of Higher Education MoU with Unpad, and the cooperation of human resources development is a part of the existing Higher Education Tridarma,” said the Chair of SMUP Office Ir. Anas, PhD.

Anas explained that the institutions, along with Unpad, had conducted the form of primary cooperation was an implementation of higher education tridarma programs. Moreover, research collaboration, education, and human resources development, facilitation of MBKM, practitioners deployment to give lectures regularly until the collaboration in community empowerment development. The related institutions are not only limited to educational institutions.

“Please propose, then it will be preceded by a discussion in accordance with the planning program of higher education Tridarma (Unpad). If all (parties) has come to a mutual understanding for actively participating in educational development in Indonesia. We follow up by tridarma cooperation,” said Anas.

Moreover, Anas explained that for collaboration in human resources development, especially for undergraduate or vocational programs and postgraduate programs, the recommendation of potential participants from independent admission was adjusted to the related institution’s requirements. If the prospective participants has acquired the institution’s recommendation, they can enroll to Unpad through the cooperative program.

“People who can enrol to the cooperative program are those who are recommended,” he added.

Despite that, the prospective participants will still be selected by Unpad based on the SMUP examination scheme or using the UTBK score and academic report basis. The admission process will be conducted for the potential participants of the cooperative program.

“For example, there are many participants who enroll to a study program. It is impossible to accept all participants to the study program because there is a student’s capacity for SNBP, SNBT and independent admission. They will still be selected by the highest score,” he explained.

Therefore, the potential participants enrolling in the cooperative program will still choose to participate in the SMUP examination scheme or based on UTBK scores and academic reports. Furthermore, Anas said that Unpad opened a discussion for institutions or partners interested in recommending prospective students through the admission process.

“For institutions or partners who want to propose a tridarma cooperation, please contact Unpad. We are open for discussion in planning program for tridarma,” he concluded.
