[Unpad.ac.id, 06/10/2013] Responding to the request from SMAK Penabur Gading Serpong, Unpad, together with other 56 universities nationwide, took part in Edu Fair 2013 organized by SMAK Penabur Gading Serpong in Tangerang on Friday (04/10) and Saturday (05/10).

Representing Unpad, Wati Sukmawati, the head of Unpad public relation offices, gave a detailed presentation Unpad, programs that it offers, tuition and fees, and other facilities. Gloria Evita Thalia, eleventh grader from SMAK Penabur Gading Serpong, admitted that upon hearing the explanation she became more interested in going to Unpad medical school. “My friends and I are very much interested in going to medical school in Unpad,” said she. Another student, Franz, admitted that he wanted to study at Business and Economics Faculty (FEB). “Unpad offers pleasant atmosphere for studying. What’s more, it’s not very far from Tangerang,” said he. Equally interested, teachers and parents also wanted to hear more about Unpad due to excellent programs that the university offers.
Satijan, the principal of SMAK BPK Penabur Gading Serpong, said that the event is held annually to provide the students with reliable information on colleges that they want to go to. “We are fully aware that we cannot provide complete information about these universities. We get them to come here instead and do it for us,” said he.
