GLOBE 2025 Offers International Opportunities for Unpad Students

[Unpad Media Channel] The Office of International Affairs at Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) o offers students the chance to study abroad through GLOBE: Global Learning Opportunities and Beyond Exchange 2025, themed “Dare to Dream Beyond Borders.” The event is held on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at Bale Sawala, Unpad Rectorate Building in Jatinangor, and features an international education fair attended by 12 leading universities from Asia, Australia, the Americas, and Europe.

“This event reflects Unpad’s commitment to globalization and international recognition. GLOBE provides comprehensive information for Unpad students, especially those interested in participating in international programs such as student exchanges, double degree programs, and more,” said Hana Rizmadewi Agustina, S.Kp., MN., Ph.D., Head of Unpad’s Distance Education Management Office.

The event is attended by Prof. Dr. Aliya Nur Hasanah, S.Si., Apt., M.Si., Unpad’s Director of Academic Affairs, along with faculty representatives including Vice Deans for Academic, Student, and Research Affairs, Academic and Student Affairs Managers, and Heads of Study Programs. Partner university representatives are also present.

As part of its internationalization efforts, Unpad continues to align its academic programs with global standards. The university currently offers an International Undergraduate Program (IUP) and is expanding double degree collaborations with various overseas universities. These initiatives are supported by curriculum development and improvements in facilities and infrastructure, enabling Unpad to facilitate a wide range of internationally oriented academic activities.

In her opening remarks, Anggia Utami Dewi, S.IP., M.IS., Ph.D., Head of Unpad’s Office of International Affairs, emphasized the university’s commitment to providing students with international experiences—whether through internationalization at home or internationalization abroad. These include exchange programs, graduate studies (master’s and doctoral), and other global opportunities.

“GLOBE 2025 is expected to serve as a platform for students to explore various international opportunities. This event aims to provide comprehensive and up-to-date information to help students prepare for international mobility and further studies, so they can better plan their academic and global career pathways,” explained Anggia.

Additionally, GLOBE 2025 serves as a vital opportunity for Unpad’s study programs to build academic networks and explore potential collaborations with international partners. The event is expected to broaden access to global collaborations—particularly for Unpad’s international programs—supporting increased international exposure and academic competitiveness.

The organization of GLOBE 2025 is a testament to Unpad’s commitment to advancing higher education internationalization. Through global collaboration and leveraging available opportunities, Unpad aims to continue producing graduates with international competitiveness who contribute meaningfully both nationally and globally.
