[Unpad.ac.id, 26/02/2016] A total of 127 participants of Departures Preparation (PK) batch 56 of Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia recipients visited Universitas Padjadjaran campus, Thursday (18/02). The purpose of visit was to determine concept of implementation and Socio-Technopreneurship curriculum that has been applied Unpad.

The event was opened by Head of Program Study Agricultural Industrial Technology (TIN) of Faculty of Agricultural Industrial Technology (FTIP), Ir. Totok Pujianto, MT. in Bale Santika, Unpad campus, Jatinangor. Totok said that this PK LPDP visit was remarkable because it was their first institutional visit to universities in Bandung. The distinctness of socio-technopreneurship of TIN Unpad has become the main attraction for LPDP Batch 56 to visit, since this curriculum was able to integrate the concept of technopreneur along with National Standards for Higher Education.
During the event, the implementation of the concept of Socio-Technopreneurship were presented by Dr. Dwi Purnomo, STP., MT. His presentation focuses on the emerging of technology-based social entrepreneurship with the theme of “Socio-Technopreneurship: A Design Thinking Approach in Agroindustrial-based Entrepreneurship”.
“Technology-based social entrepreneurship became the backbone to support the curriculum that would be able to create excelled graduates. This is certainly in line with the vision of the Unpad Program Study in its scheme of Grant of Program Studies (HUPS); the theme Centre of Excellence in Small and Medium Enterprises Technopreneurship, “said Dr. Dwi.
Also attending this event, Local Enablers community of Creative Forum Jatinangor and Unpad, Community of Geology Study, FruitsUP, Noms, Kewirausahaan TIN, Yourgood, Honesty by Thaiteanic, Frequency, LomieJTR, Padjadjaran Language School and Sahabat. They participated in sharing their experiences.
During the event, the LPDP participants held a meeting with 150 Unpad students, in sharing and inspiring session, in order to give perspective regarding further studies and ideals in the future.
Mohammad Kamiluddin, as PIC PK LPDP, expressed his appreciation for reception of Universitas Padjadjaran in PK-56’s institutional visits. According to him, this visit has provided new insight into approaches in development of continuous innovation in education and entrepreneurship. Hopefully, the recipients of LPDP after returning from their studies could inspire and contribute significantly to the country. In the future, it is also expected that the partnership would continue to be established and maintained sustainability.*
