[Unpad.ac.id, 11/10/2016] Faculty of Law Universitas Padjadjaran was trusted to become a host on annual international conference “Globelics Conference 2016”. This conference is an annual event held by Globelics Scientific Board as gathering of several scientific experts across the world in order to develop alternative concepts for global economy, social, and politic.
Collaborating with FH Unpad and several other shareholders, Globelics Conference 2016 is held in Savoy Homann & Hotel Grand Preanger, 12–14 October. This is the 14th conference of the series and 147 academicians/presenters will be in attendance.
“The contribution of this seminar in the form of scientific strategies is to provide input from relevant stakeholders about the innovations in the field of development of the economy and the environment,” said Vice Rector for Research, Community Engagement, Cooperation, Innovation, and Business Unpad, Dr. Keri Lestari, M.Sc., Apt., in the press conference held at the Hotel Savoy Homann, Bandung, Monday (10/10). Besides Dr. Keri, in the press conference, also attended as speaker Globelics Science Committee, Miranda Risang Ayu, PhD, and Globelics Committee Scientific Board, Dr. Roman Jurowtzki.
Dr. Keri said the conference theme is “Innovation, Creativity, & Development: Strategies for Inclusiveness and Sustainability”. There are four main activities that will be conducted at the conference.
The first category, globelics annual conference is an event of the exchanging information on research capacity from 40 countries, as well as the implementation of such research in order to address various challenges in each country. The second category, annual academic globelics is intended for 30-40 students Doctoral program that will conduct research to provide information related to economic innovation.
The third activity, globelics tematic report is a media communications policies that are relevant to the research results were presented. Lastly, Globelics Looking Paper Series, is a publication of the research results from the speakers. The results will be published in the open access journal every speaker.
“This is not just a scientific meeting, but there will be input on innovation policies, especially in the field of economic development in each country,” said Dr. Keri.
The conference will also feature three keynote speakers, namely Rector, Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad, an expert in economics, politics, and development in the ASEAN region, Dr. Jomo Kwame Sundaram, and Prof. Helena Lastres.
Globelics Scientific Board is a networking forum of academics and scientists worldwide. Basic collaboration convening of the conference is the basic assumption that social economic aspects intertwined with the implementation of science and technology. *
