The mosaic was  prepared in five formations, including; the red and white flag, the 2018 Prabu logo, the words “King 2018”, the 2018 Asian Games logo and the Unpad logo.

The Coordinator of the Event Management Division, Rifki Putra Pratama said, the making of this mosaic was the result of the collective work of the three 2018 Prabu committee divisions. The event division made the mosaic design and layout, the documentation and design division which recorded the mosaic procession, and the facilitator division which gave briefings to new students for the implementation of mosaic.

“The purpose of making this mosaic is that we want to instill a sense of unity for new students. We want to arouse pride for having been accepted at Unpad. Besides that, the making of this mosaic is also a characteristic for Pramuda (new student term, red) because it was only held this year, “said Rifki.

Rifki also explained that in addition, the spirit that was tried to be instilled in 2018 Pramuda was “Blazing Blue”. “Blue” which is the color of Unpad alma mater and “smoldering” is a form of enthusiasm that all 2018 Pramuda must have.

Rina, a new student from the Faculty of Communication Sciences, admitted that She was quite enthusiastic to participate in the making of mosaic.

“Even though the weather was rather hot, but still exciting and curious, I would like to see the results. Also challenged to make better than other universities,” She said.

2018 Prabu series of activities was closed by the appearance of the Hivi band which made the atmosphere festive. This was stated by Ilman Gifari, a new student from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry.

“Today is better than yesterday because it’s exciting and not boring. Moreover, the last performance was closed by Hivi, it was so spectacular,” Ilman said.*
