With this achievement, men team of UBTU will be West Java representative in National Varsity League that will be held in Agustus at Surabaya.

““We are very proud even if in my opinion we have not prepared enough for the competition. With our hardwork, support from official and audience, we were encouraged to do our best, ” said Head of UBTU Danny Harja Yogaswara when interviewed at Humas Room, Rectorate Building Unpad Jatinangor, Monday (18/04).
Further, Danny said that the West Java representatives for national competition are 3 men teams and 2 women teams. “There are only two representatives of women team from West Java. We are a bit unlucky because we only finished in third place,” said he.
Danny explained that this would be the first time UBTU Men team participated in national competition. Women team has been participating in national level competition for two straight year but did not make it this year.
According to this Faculty of Agriculture student, teamwork and the high enthusiasm of UBTU team becomes key in their success. In the national level, UBTU is determined to focus in training to deliver the best performance.
“We will first evaluate our play in this West Java Conference competition and then have our players train harder,” said he.
For the national competition, he hoped for support from all Unpad academia through the spirit of “Unpad Ngahiji”. “We asked for total support both in thoughts and fund,” said Danny.*
