[Unpad.ac.id, 29/07/2016] Unit of Integrated Service Universitas Padjadjaran conducted comparative study to Unit of Integrated Study Ministry of Education and Culture, Jakarta, Thursday (28/07). Unpad Team attending this event were Director of Governance and Public Communication, Dr. Soni A. Nulhaqim, S.Sos., M.Si, and Expert Team of Unpad Integrated Service Assembly Dr. Drs. Heru Nurasa, M.Si, Dr. Rer. Nat. Ir. Suseno Amien, and Bonti, S.AP.,M.Si. along with Head of Division and Subdivision in Unpad and staffs of Unit of Unpad Integrated Service.
“We are eager to learn how integrated services conducted here,” said Dr. Soni during his speech.
Unpad delegation was accepted by Head of Communications and Community Services (BKLM) Ministry of Education and Culture Asianto Sinambela, with Head of Integrated Services, Setiono, and a number of Chiefs and Heads of Section in the Bureau of Communication and Community Service Ministry of Education and Culture.
On the occasion, Asianto Sinambela revealed that ULT Ministry of Education and Culture was formed in April 2015 and has become one of main products to enhance the image of the Ministry. Periodically, an institute conducted a survey to measure the performance of their services.
“From our experience, people’s level of enthusiasm and appreciation increased because they could get fast service in accordance with their expectations,” said Asianto.
Meanwhile, Setiono revealed that the Ministry’s Integrated Services Department is under the Bureau of Communication and Community Services, as well as other parts such as Information, Publications Section, and the Inter-Agency Relations Section.
From this visit, he expected that there would be a synergy between the two parties to provide community service. In addition, he also expected Integrated Services Unit Unpad team to provide services to the academic study ULT of the Ministry.
Met after the ceremony, Dr. Soni said that the visit to the Ministry was conducted because the unit has many similarities with integrated service unit that is being developed by Unpad. Ministry of Education ULT was considered able to provide good service to the community.
“We are learning from the best practices of integrated services in the Ministry of Education and Culture. We are also open in learning from other units, “said Dr. Soni.
Currently, Unpad continued its development of Unit of Integrated Service more comprehensively. Integrated Services Team is also conducting processing services categorization of each Directorate in Unpad. There are at least 624 types of services being prepared and will be categorized.
“This unit would provide services, both for students, faculty, staff education, and the community, who required service at Universitas Padjadjaran, particularly in the Rector’s office,” said Dr. Soni. *
