Menpora RI Imam Nachrawi Participated in Mega Forsi Unpad

Imam Nachrawi, participated for Universitas Padjadjaran team during a friendly soccer match against the leaders in the District (Muspika) Jatinangor at the Mega Sports Education Festival (Forsi), Monday at Field of Jati Padjadjaran Stadium Unpad Campus Jatinangor, Saturday (17/09).

In match, the team was also comprised of Director of Student Affairs and Alumni Unpad, Dr. Ir Heryawan Kemal Mustafa, M.Sc., Dean of Faculty of Communication Science Unpad, Dr. Dadang Rahmat Hidayat, M.Sc., Chairman of the Alumni Association Unpad, Hikmat Kurnia, Head of Bureau of Academic Administration Unpad Drs. Sudarma, M.M., chairman of BEM Kema Unpad, Navajo Bima Hadisuwarno, as well as representatives of faculty, staff, students, and staff of the Ministry.

Meanwhile, Muspika team was comprised by representatives and community leaders from 12 villages in the District Jatinangor. The match was also attended by Rector, Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad, Head of Jatinangor Subdistrict, M. Wasman Jatinangor Police Chief, as well as the general public in the district Jatinangor.

The game ran over two halfs and lasted about 90 minutes. Winning the friendly match was Unpad, with score of 3-2.

“This is important for me, because this is the first time I play on the green field stadium in Unpad,” said Imam.

The friendly match was part of the Mega Festival of Sport, Arts, and Education (Forsi) series Unpad in 2016, held by the Ministry of Interest and Talent of Student Executive Body (BEM) Student Unpad Family. Mega Forsi Executive Chairperson 2016, Rizky Adrian, said that the annual event was held from 5 September to 25 October.

This student of Study Program Chemistry explained that Universitas Padjadjaran Mega Forsi 2016 consists of three categories of competition, i.e. sports, arts, and education, with students from 16 faculties in Unpad participating. Unlike the previous Forsi, Forsi this year include the category of science as a branch of the race.

“We are trying to accommodate all interests talents all students, not just the sport and the arts, but also in the scientific field,” said Adrian.

Branches of sports competitions consisted of 12 categories: soccer, futsal, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, badminton, climbing wall, boat race, DotA e-Sport, Pool, Running 5K, and chess. As for the competition in art also consisted of 12 categories: band, musical poetry, vocal solo, vocal group, painting, photography, percussion, traditional dance, modern dance, theater, jingles, short movie. As for educational branch of the race consists of four categories of competition, namely the Student Creativity Program (PKM), debates, speeches, and essays. In addition to the race, Forsi were also be filled by an exhibition and show of talent from various SMEs and Community at Universitas Padjadjaran.

Adrian further said that Mega Forsi is also a place to discover the various talents of the students of Unpad.

“Hopefully after Forsi, the winners of this competition would be included in the national or local level,” said Adrian. *
