Faculty of Pharmacy’s history started with its form as department which was established on 19 February 1959, as the fifth department among seven departments in Faculty of Math and Natural Sciences Universitas Padjadjaran.
During that time, the department’s campus was located at Ir.H. Juanda Street No 4, Bandung. Academic activities were done in the campus and Natural Sciences Institution (LIPA) at Singaperbangsa Street, Bandung. In 1978, the campus location was moved to Maulana Yusuf Street No. 12, Bandung, then on September 1986 all academic activities were moved to Jatinangor.
On 17 October 2006, Pharmacy Department’s status changed. It became Faculty of Pharmacy (1868/J06/Kep/KP/2006) lead by a dean, helped by vice dean of academic affairs, vice dean of administration and finance, vice dean of student affairs. Since 2006, Faculty of Pharmacy has been accepting news students from Malaysia.

Mission:
- To provide a pharmaceutical education complying with principles of even distribution and expansion of community access.
- To provide a pharmaceutical education having quality, relevance, and international competitiveness.
- To provide a professional and accountable management of pharmaceutical education.
- To conduct product and patent oriented researches.
- To conduct public services by implementing science and technology of pharmacy and health.
