[Unpad.ac.id, 17/11/2016] Rector Universitas Padjadjaran, Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad, inaugurated a number of leaders of working units in Unpad. The inauguration ceremony was held in the Executive Lounge Rectorater Building Campus Jatinangor, Thursday (17/11). The inauguration was attended by the Vice Rectors, faculty leaders, as well as members of Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP), Universitas Padjadjaran.
Deputy Head of Control and Coordination Program, as well as the Secretary of the Directorates. The inauguration is a transformation effort of Unpad-run organizations.
“This organizational transformation is the efforts to support contribution to a stronger Unpad for the nation’s development,” said the Rector during his speech direction.
To support the transition as State Universities as Legal Entity, an important aspect that must be done Unpad is to strengthen and empower the various potentials. In the early stages is to promote the implementation of various programs on a massive scale. This program was initiated to carry forward the institutional activity.
Rector said that various innovations must be developed by Unpad. This innovation is the soul of the effort to build the future development of Universitas Padjadjaran. To build these innovations one must be supported by the device optimum institutional.
“Without innovation, it is difficult for us to evolve in the future,” said Rector.
Therefore, in this inauguration, there are some adjustments to institutional transformation. Technically Rector explained, institutional Directorate which previously consisted of 11 Directorates, later reduced to 9 Directorates, namely by eliminating the 3 Directorate, combining 2 Directorates and forming one new Directorate.
To speed up the process of performance, the role of Head of Bureau was removed and taken over the Director. In this case, Director will be assisted by the Secretary of the Directorate to perform various functions facilitative to ensure the implementation of programs that have been designed by the work unit. “Empower and synergizing various programs,” added Rector.
With this institutional transformative effort, targeting the 2018 Rector Unpad could be in a stable position as the State University as Legal Entity.
Based on the Rector Decree No. 1883-1912/UN6.RKT/2016, the names of directors and heads were inaugurated in the event are as follows:

- Drs. Gatot Riwi Setyanto, M.Si., as Director of Human Resources;
- Prof. Dr. Reiza D. Dienaputra, M.Hum., as Director of Education and Student Affairs;
- Edi Jaenudin, S.E., M.Si., Ak., as Director of Finance and Logistics;
- Rizky Abdulah, S.Si., Apt., PhD, as Director of Research and Community Engagement;
- Dr. Irwan Ary Dharmawan, M.Si., as Director of Facilities and Infrastructures;
- Dr. Dwi Purnomo, S.TP., M.T., as Director of Cooperation and Academic Corporation
- Ade Kadarisman, S.Sos., M.T., as Director of Governance and Public Communication/Head of International Office;
- Irvan Afriandi, dr., Grad. Dipl. OEH., M.PH., Dr.PH., as Director of Planning and Information System;
